About
To me, art is a way of seeing and my lens is often trained on the juxtaposition of line and organic shapes in urban and natural environments. Printimaking, in all its guises (etching, screen, mono and woodblock printing) provides the perfect foil, enabling works that capture precise moments of urban transformation and/or the emotive states of nature, through realist and abstract expression.
I have greatly benefitted from multi-year UK-based artist development programmes at West Dean College, Newlyn School of Arts and Hausprint Studios. Thanks go to fellow members at East London Printmakers for continuing input and support, and to residencies, most recently at MiLAB and Studio Kura in Japan.
